now contemporary art announces “Ambiguities”, an exhibition by , Román Vitali, Javier Velasco and Luciano Goizueta.
“Ambiguity” is generally seen as an integral part of the human condition. Certain images are visually ambiguous and can be interpreted in two ways. Perceptions of such objects remain stable for a time, then may change, a phenomenon called multistable perceptions
The perception of a piece of art can trigger different reactions in one person at different times or in several people at the same time. The result of the interaction between the viewer and the artwork can create multiple, unique and intimate experiences. The personal judgment of the viewer might also be different from the original concept of the artist, but the combination of both thoughts complete the totality of the work.
The exhibition will be held from May 14th – June 4th, 2011 at nowcontemporary art located at 175 NW 25th Street, Miami FL 33127.
Hours of operation: Tuesday – Friday 10 A.M. – 6 P.M.
